[Accessories](https://help.ratiocoffee.com/troubleshooting?hsLang=en#accessories) # Able Basket Troubleshooting The Able Basket harnesses a straightforward design that's easy to insert into your Ratio Six and Eight Series 2 drippers and to clean. This article will focus on some of the less common troubleshooting tips to help optimize your experience. #### **Overflow** If you're experiencing overflow with your Able Basket, this can similarly be prevented by our overflow resources. Please click [here](https://help.ratiocoffee.com/using-the-right-filters-with-your-ratio-eight-series-2-0-0?hsLang=en) for more information about preventing overflow.  The Able filters also benefit from a slightly larger grind size than would be used for paper filters, for a few reasons. In the context of overflow, a coarser grind size will keep the water level at bay during the brewing process. Using a fine grind size can clog the drainage holes. #### **Sediment and Over-Extraction** If you're using the same grind size as you would a paper filter with your Able Basket, it's possible you could notice small coffee solids from the coffee beans can make it into your brew. Some may actually prefer the robust result this would produce. That being said, you can still get a cleaner cup while using the Able Basket by using a slightly coarser grind size. This will also prevent too much sediment from making it into your brew, and it prevents over-extraction. You can also try adjusting your dose to accommodate a coffee-to-water ratio with less water. ### Anything else?
