Why aren't there any lights coming on?

Has your Ratio Eight become unresponsive all of a sudden? This troubleshooting guide can help you identify the cause and, potentially, find a remote resolution. 

Is your Ratio Eight receiving power?

If your Ratio has suddenly become unresponsive, the first thing to confirm is whether or not the unit is receiving power.

• Is your Ratio Brewer connected to a GFCI outlet? If so, check to make sure that it has not been tripped.

• Try plugging other devices into the outlet you normally use for your Ratio to see if they are receiving power.

• Try plugging your brewer into other outlets and see if it is able to power on.

• If you have any compatible power cords, try swapping those in to see if power delivery is restored. You can find more information on what to look for in this article.
• Is the power cord snugly connected to the inlet in the back of your machine? This cord may come loose if your machine is regularly moved, such as when your unit is pulled forward to fill before brewing. The port on the back of the Ratio Eight can be snug,  so a strong push might be required to make sure that it is properly seated.

Blown PCB fuse

If you are unable to resolve the issue with the troubleshooting above, you may have a blown PCB fuse. The fuse built into the circuit board that controls the Ratio Eight is designed to protect your machine in the event of a surge due to too much or irregular power delivery.
