Ratio Eight S2 Wood Trim Replacement
Follow the instructions for assistance in replacing the wood trim on the Ratio Eight Series 2.
Materials:
- Phillips head screwdriver (not included)
- x4 screws (not included)
- Left & right side wood trim in desired finish (included)
Steps:
- Remove all screws, being careful not to scratch the arms.
- Gently pulling outwards, remove the wood trim from each arm.
- Your right side arm includes a pronged shim at the top. Remove that shim with a Phillips screwdriver.
- Install that shim on your replacement right side arm with the prongs facing toward the machine at a 90º angle.
- Place the new wood trim over the metal arm and begin to attach it with screws. Repeat steps for the left side.
This instructional process should be used only if authorized directly by Ratio, with the understanding that if the replacement process in any way causes damage to the machine, the customer will be required to ship the machine back to us at cost to them. All needed repairs for damage caused by replacement process will be assessed and quoted for cost of replacement of damaged parts plus labor. As a friendly reminder, this replacement process is not covered under warranty and should be performed with the understanding that there is an inherent risk of scratching the machine, stripping the screws beyond ability to extract, and cracking/breakage of wood trim.
