How to Disassemble your Ratio Six Thermal Carafe.
If water has become trapped between the walls of your Thermal Carafe, follow these steps to air dry the unit.
Tools Needed:
- Flat-head screwdriver
- Phillips-head screwdriver
- Soft cloth (to prevent scratches)
Step-by-Step Guide:
1. Remove the Handle Covering
- Place a soft cloth over the carafe to protect the surface.
- Using a flat-head screwdriver, gently lift the handle covering to detach it.
2. Unscrew the Handle and Top Ring
- Once the covering is removed, locate the small Phillips-head screw at the base of the handle.
- Use a Phillips-head screwdriver to unscrew it.
- Rotate the top ring counterclockwise until it loosens.
- Lift the lid off.
Note: If the lid does not come off easily, do not force it.
4. Remove the Silicone Gasket
- If a silicone gasket is present, gently peel it off for cleaning.
5. Reassemble the Carafe
- Reverse the steps: Reattach the silicone gasket, reinstall the pouring mechanism, secure the handle with the screw, and snap the handle covering back into place.
