Add TWW minerals to distilled water. 2\. Shake the water jug for 10-15 seconds to effectively mix the minerals. 3\. Pour the mixed water into your brewer.  **Why should I care about water quality when brewing coffee?** *Flavor*: Water can flatten the taste of your coffee. *Extraction*: Coffee requires certain minerals present to properly extract, pulling the coffee flavors out of the bean and into your cup. *Protect your investment:* if you purchased all of the right brewing gear and $10+/lb for coffee, why ruin the experience with bad water?  ![](https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0215/8508/files/Third_Wave_Water___Ratio_8-21_dad31092-8e26-4f03-bf19-c1b228fad1a2_1024x1024.jpg?v=1588745292) **What is Third Wave Water (TWW)?** *Minerals*: TWW is a packet of all-natural minerals that, when mixed with distilled water, creates the optimum water to brew coffee.  **What is in Third Wave Water?**  *Three minerals*: there are no chemicals used. See below for each water profile's exact ingredients.  **What kind of water should I add TWW minerals to?**  *We recommend Distilled Water*, Reverse Osmosis, or Deionized water for best results.
