What is Recipe B on the Ratio Eight Series 2?

Recipe B on the Ratio Eight Series 2 is a shorter bloom mode, ideal for smaller, 2-4 cup batches. Below, we will cover how to initiate and use this feature.

How to use Recipe B

1. Press and hold the Start button for 3-5 seconds to activate Bloom mode. The Bloom light will begin pulsing.
2. After the heater reaches temperature, water will flow from the shower head between 195-205ºF.
3. The machine will dispense roughly 100ml of hot water before pausing.
4. The heater will stop heating for around 30 seconds, resulting in a brief pause of water flow.
5. The Bloom light will continue pulsing throughout the entire Bloom mode, then switch to 'Brew'.
   
   

If brewing 4-8 cups: try Recipe A, which you can engage by just pressing the brew button.
